Green Card in Production [ Baltimore office] Approved
Good morning everyone,

I just had my interview this morning at USCIS BALTIMORE OFFICE and it was approved( Card in production within 15 minutes).

I was overstayed for almost 16 years, married to USC for almost two years. We do have 3 children together(Ages 16, 14 and 5 years old). I’ve been divorced from my prior spouse since 2005. I was not able to get my paperworks from my country because of the goverment official rules. I received all of needed documents around Summer 2016 after trying since 2003 and that’s when I found out that I’ve divorced since 2005.

I did it without an attorney and as far as you organized your forms and the evidence of Bona fide married neatly you will be fine.

Timeline:
March 23, 2017 - sent concurrently I-130,I-485 and EAD
March 27, 2917 - USCIS received the case
April 4, 2017 - received receipts for three cases
June 29, 2017- received EAD
July 3,2017 - RFE for record of incoming/outgoing travels( got the copy from CPB for free)
August 30,2017 - sent the RFE
September 3, 2017 - USCIS received the RFE and working on the case.
January 5, 2018 - interview letter arrived for February 22,2018 at 7:00 AM.
February 22,2018 - interviews and approved ( card in production) within 10 minutes via text and email

Interview went very well and fast. The officer didn’t ask too many questions.
She asked:
- Hubby and my birthday
- My parent’s name
- what he do for living
- My mother in law name
- Our current address
And that was it.

She didn’t ask for any extra documentation or photos. My medical was expired on the 8th of February and she didn’t ask for the update. She said that the USCIS has changed the policy for form I-693, it will be expired a year after the USCIS received your case. I did get the update but she didn’t want it.

Preparation is very important. If you guys have any questions, you are welcome to contact me.

Be blessing,
