AOS Interview - F1 OPT adjustment to GC based on marriage
Hi everyone,

I have filed for my AOS based on marriage to USC back in June 2017 and have been scheduled for interview in first week of March, field office Philadelphia. My spouse is currently not working so we ended up using a joint sponsor (mother in law). I have been working on my OPT EAD and then AOS EAD since February 2017 and have filed joint taxes for FY 2017. We are planning to bring the following:
- Phone bills showing both our numbers on the same account
- Phone records for the past three billing cycle showing incoming outgoing calls from both our lines to each other
- Health insurance document showing my spouse is on my employer provided health insurance
- Benefit statements showing my spouse is the beneficiary of my life and accidental death insurances
- Letter from my employer showing I am currently employed and verifying pay rate
- Car insurance documents showing both of us being on the same insurance
- Joint checking account and transaction history
- Joint savings account and transaction history
- Car titles showing that we are joint owners of our cards
- 2017 joint tax return for us
- 2017 tax return from my mother in law as she filed a i-864 A for us
- Notarized letter verifying we reside with our mother in law as we do not have any lease agreements, or utility bills
- Pictures and letters to each other from over the years
- Other required documents stated in Interview Notice for i-845 (birth certificates, etc.)

I have couple of questions for y'all if you have some time.
a) Does that matter we are residing with my mother in law? We are trying to save some money for a downpayment towards a house.
b) My spouse not working? She has been trying to look for job but hasn't found a right fit yet, thinking about going back to grad school etc.
c) Any other evidence in your option that could be beneficial and not listed above?
d) Finally, if any of you had an interview at Philly field office how did it go?

Thanks everyone, and best of luck. I will write another update once my interview is completed. Onward!
