nj still waiting
Hi,

I am so upset, please give me some suggestions if you have any ideas!

My situation:

 Aug1, 2017 filling I-130,131, 765, 485
Sep1, 2017 fingerprint
Until now, still no news (even my I-131 and I-765 have been out of processing time)

On Jan 14, 2018, I called the USCIS and asked about my I-131 and I-765 because both had out of the processing time by at least one month. The officer told me to wait 30 days after making a follow up request. After 30 days, I called again to USCIS and was told to open a second request or speak to a second level officer with a 5 day process time. The second level officer told me to wait a full 5 days. So time to call back and now they won't speak to a second level officer because I now have a new request entered the other day (5 days earlier). I'm told to wait 30 days yet again. Last Thursday, I called back to the USCIS again, I hoped the officer could give me some status as I explained I had waited on two requests back to back. He replied that I have to keep going to make requests, then wait 30days for a response. In case, no one responds, I have to continue. How does this make any sense?

I asked my lawyer to do inquiries, she told me I have to wait more four months and then they would start. Now, I feel so helpless. I really want to get my I-131 to help me go back my country to visit my grandmother. She is old. She hopes to meet me and my husband while she is still alive. I want to achieve her wish. Five years ago, I left my country to head to the US, then I changed my B2 to F1, this year, I will graduate with my degree. During these 5 years, I did not leave the US because I'm scared to lose my study opportunities in the US. Please anyone can give my some idea what should I do now?

Sincerely,
Patience is gone
