Ready for interview
Hello All,

I'm a US citizen filing for residency for my husband. Timeline:
July 2017- files i-485 and i-130 together at the same time
Aug 2017- returned due to a missing document, was fixed and sent back again right away
Oct 2017- saw our status as "Ready for interview" , received a text as forms received as well but never received anything in mail.

We files in the Houston office and we know the filing is backed up. I believe I saw i-130 currently working March 2017 and i-485 they are currently working Nov 2016. Since I applied together, which timelline should I look at?

I am just concerned when our interview will be because his DACA expires this year and since he was in DACA we didn't have to apply for employment authorization. But now that we haven't gotten any updates and DACA is up in the air, when it gets closer to the DACA expiration, and if we haven't heard back from USCIS can we still apply for employment authorization for no fee?
What kind of proof would I need since I never received paperwork on process?

Does anybody have experiences with the Houston office?

Please help!
