Hello Everyone,
My PD is Jan. 2nd, been waiting for 70 days or so. Did biometrics back in Feb. and haven't heard of them since.
I didn't file for AP because I thought the whole GC process could be accomplished within six months or so. Because my upcoming travel plan in June, I am not sure if I will have the interview by then, I had applied AP about 20 days ago.
I am wondering if there are folks here applied AP separately from their concurrent filing. Do you guys experience any delay of your EAD because of the separate filling of AP?
Also, I have heard that changing address will affect the timeline, especially if your file moves to another city. We will be moving to NYC area at the end of July and worry that we will be forced to move to another USCIS office which essentially loses our place in line. Aside from that, the NYC-NJ processing time isn't a whole lot better than Philly.
Could any of you guys advice me on this issue too? I could potentially have someone in Philly to receive mail for us but not sure if that's allowed by USCIS. Coming back to Philly for an interview is relatively easy I think.
