Green Card - check! Now what?

Thanks for the info everyone shares on this site. Very useful.
My process was easier than that of many of you. Good luck to you all.
We had our interview last month and received the conditional Green Card a week after. Very thankfully!
What is the next step. Our lawyer and the interviewing agent said this interview was the easy part and that there would be another much stricter interview for the permanent card in 2 years. Is this true?
My lawyer also originally said there would be another biometrics test. But now that we have our Green Card she is providing no more information without us paying for further consultation. (Great follow up service, haha!).
What is the timeline for the next 2 years?
Will I just submit the I-751 to remove the conditions of my Green Card several months before it expires? Or should I anticipate another biometrics appointment and possibly another interview?
