Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello there, I'm wondering if anyone have or been in a similar situation like mines. I had my interview done today but the immgration officer said that the only red flag on my case was that we got marry before 90 days of entry into the US. My wife came here with a B1/B2 tourist visa . We were not aware of the 90 day rule, the immigration office said that we will need to file a form I751 petition to remove conditions of residence. The immigration office then said she can try to put in a waiver by taking a statement from my wife, my wife made the statement and now we are wondering what will happend next. Have anyone encounter a situation like this and how was it resolve for you.
