Dallas Field Office - End of journey
Hello all!

I finally reached the end of this crazy journey! You guys helped me keep sane when the wait got longer and longer; if you're still waiting, hang in there!

This is the timeline of my journey:

PD Date: December 27, 2016
Biometrics: February 1st, 2017
Ready to schedule interview: February 15, 2017
EAD: April 4, 2017
Moved (within Dallas) and changed address with USCIS: August 2017
New "ready to schedule interview" message after address was updated: September 25, 2017
Interview notice: February 7, 2018
New medicals done: March, 8, 2018
Interview done: March 14, 2018 - not approved on the spot, but IO was happy with everything we turned in, he just said he needed more time to review the file
Signed up for myuscis: March 14, 2018 (this was an amazing tool, thank you to hifive for telling me about it!)
Status changed to approved: March 16, 2018
Card was mailed: March 16, 2018
Approval notices for I-130 and I-485: March 20, 2018
Green card received: March 22, 2018

My status never changed in the regular case status website, which is why the myuscis account was helpful since it actually updated there.

That's it! After 450 days of waiting! the journey is done! I wish you guys the best of luck and hopefully the Dallas office will speed up their process!
