Timeline Fort Myers Florida
Field office: Fort Myers, Florida
Marriage Based AOS filed jointly

PD: March 01, 2017
EAD: End of May (3 months form PD)
Applied for my EAD and AP renewal: End of January 2018
Interview letter arrived Feb 7, 2018
Interview date March 10, 2018 (1 year and 2 weeks after PD)
Two weeks after the interview, we got the approval letters for i-130 and i-485 and green card all in the same day in 3 different envelops.
Advice do not send your medical with your application wait at least 6 month after your PD to make medical. I had to do it twice and pay twice. If you are filing from, Fort Myers or any office that you know, they take more than a year to interview you just take your medical to the interview with you. It is a close envelope any ways.

Paper work we took to the interview: Insurance in both our names, bank account and credit card in both our names, the paper that my wife made me to give me the Power of Attorney, a printed-paper from the internet showing we own a house together, printer few picture on 4 pic per paper.
Advice be very organized (we gave them a list of our evidence a papers we brought)
Original docs: driver’s license, passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, and the EAD card. (They will look at the originals make sure you bring them)

Interview day: We arrived 15 min early, but we were called 5 min before our time. The officer had a serious face and was polite. She sworn us in and took picture of me and my fingerprints. Then she said ops your medical is expired, but I gave her my new medical and she replaces the old one in her folder by the new one. Then she asked to see all the original documents of Divers license, passport, marriage certificate, birth certificate. She wanted to make a copy, but I already had them and gave it to her. Then she asked us about each other birthdays. Then she ask me about my parents names ( I thought she will ask my wife about them), the she ask me all the questions from form i-485. The interview was forward and normal. It took us 45 min.

feel free to ask questions.
