Where is my EAD card?
My immediate relative marriage-based GC timeline so far:
PD: 12/26/2017 (filed I-130, I-485, I-764, and I-693)
Receipts: 01/03/2018
Biometrics appointment: 01/26/2018
And I have been waiting for my EAD card since then. Now it's been 92nd day of wait since filing. Why is it taking so long? My online case status still says "case received" with all the forms that I filed. Would it be faster if we hired an attorney? I raised a SR online, and an automatic e-mail said that I will get an answer by April 9, 2018.
I am just worried that I sent my medical record and that it would expire if I have to wait this long. I am also an F-1 student graduating soon, so I have to apply for OPT if my EAD card has not arrived yet.
My location is "National Benefit Center" and the address on my receipts says it's in Missouri. I was filing from Chicago.
