I work as Senior Software engineer for a very reputed Tech Gaint as full time employee
Did not ask for i797 copy also. Took the passport and asked 5-6 basic questions like salary, location, what you do at work. Asked did I work on OPT
Issued 221(G) blue slip and said it will not take terribly long. Retained the passport
I hope it's again started in the summer.
