Oakland Park Citizenship Experience
Hello Everyone!
Today it was my citizenship interview. Arrived at 10:15pm. Interview was schedule forn10:30am. IO called me around 10:55am. Whole process took almost 1 hr. Went through all my paperwork as I applied naturalization 5yr rule but was previously married to an USC. Officer was nice but very serious. He asked me about why I got divorced, All my previous addresses, Jobs, Full / Last name, current address, etc. About all the regular questions about constitution and oath.
Then he moved on to the Q.
-Ocean located in the east coast?
-Year constitution was written?
-Age you have to have to be for select service?
-What is the freedom of religion?
-How many senators out there?
I can't remember the last question. Then he asked me to write " Washington is on the bill".
Then he congratulated me and told me I should receive a letter within 30 days and I should come well dress for the Oath.
Once the tests were done, He was much nicer and we chatted a bit.
Anyone in this Journey, Just be patient! I was a PR for over 8 years and now I had the opportunity to file and make it happen. Lots of Luck Everyone!!!!
