Contacted congressman
My PD is November 1st. I contacted my congressman on April 4th to see if they could help to expedite my case. This morning April 17th I woke up to 2 emails. My congressman said my case was sent for expedite but also that the expedite wait time might be long since there are many cases waiting in the expedite queue. So I’m not sure if it made a difference with the wait time but I sure hope so. I don’t think USCIS really understands how we applicants feel being in limbo. We go months without getting updates and if I hadn’t found this site by accident last year I’m sure I would have felt alone in this whole process. I wouldn’t even have known I could contact my congressman for help. Thanks to everyone that posts here. Your stories and experiences really help.
