Traveling on F1 status after marriage to USC
Hi everyone, I’m new here and would appreciate all the advice I can get (can’t afford lawyer). I’m an F1 graduate student (came legally and in good status) getting married in July 2018 to US citizen and want to know if there’s a deadline when to file to for GC. I want to travel outside US in October 2018 and again January 2019 and wanted to know if we chose not to file for GC this year can I continue to study and travel legally under my F1 visa? (Visa and I-20 valid til 2020).
