Interview: Feb 8, 2018 (Holtsville, Long island, NY
EAD Expiry: April 14, 2018
Today I contacted my congresswoman office seeking help with my renewal of ead. They email me the release form and I completed, signed and email it back. They contacted me back a few minutes ago. I was told that my I-485 case is in queue for a second interview which I did not inquire about but was happy for the update so i can stop worrying and that my I-765 is still within the normal processing time. They say they can expedite the process but I will need to submit a letter from my employer stating that they need a current EAD from me to continue my employment at their establishment.
The good part is that my employer has not asked for a current EAD so I am still able to work for now.
