8 months after interview
Hi everyone , The wait is really frustrating. I had my interview in August 2017. And I can tell you the interview went well . Though we were separated but we spent total of 15 minutes . The IO asked me to respond to a RFE he’s gonna send me for affidavit of birth . I did that 3 weeks after I got the RFE . Since then , nada, nothing ,no update .
My problem now is I’m having issues with my wife and we might be heading for divorce . She’s moving out of out apartment soon ( she’s been saying that for awhile now ) . I will like to know if divorce is going to affect my application or I should withdraw my application . And does contacting the congressman trigger home visit ?
