Green Card received! San Jose office
Hi everyone,
I just want to share my happiness with you all!
Here is my timeline for my Marriage based I-485 adjusted from F1 visa
12/29/2017: Package sent to USCIS - PD
01/24/2018: Biometrics done
02/14/2018: Interview scheduled for March 20
03/20/2018: Interview lasted for about 45 mins. The IO just went over the applications, made some corrections on the forms, and asked basic questions. I was given the letter at the end of the interview saying case was hold for review.
04/16/2018: Card produced (I didn't expect this and thought it was a glitch in the system lol)
04/18/2018: I-485 and I-130 approved
04/19/2018: Card mailed
02/23/2018: 10-year Green Card in hand! (On the interview day we were married for 2 years 12 days so we got 10 year Green Card :)
The interesting part is that I have been anxiously waiting for the combo card, not green card since I know San Jose office is seriously backed up and they are currently processing case as of Dec 2016. I have raised multiple SRs for my combo card and got the letter on the same date I got my green card saying that my combo card is still within normal processing time lol. I still haven't got my combo card yet but I dont need it anymore :)
