Query about U.S. visa application status
Hello,
I recently gave my interview for H1-b Visa on 23rd April 2018 at Hyderabad. The Visa Officer told me my visa status didn't get updated in the systems(I was in F1 visa before and recently changed to h1-b on last October) and he told me they will change/update the status correctly. He told me nothing to worry about this and my passport will be issued in 7 to 10 days. When I checked my visa application status on ceac website it is showing as refused. I didn't get back my passport or any documents(221g) at the end of the interview. Also, I didn't get an email from US Consulate about the next steps. Did anyone face the same issue? Please help me how to proceed for the next steps.
