I Work full time for a reputed company. Below is how my visa interview went when I went along with my daughter.
May 07 - Attended Interview
2 hours after Interview - Status changed to Administrative Processing
May 08 - Status changed to Issued
Interview
I noticed that the VO was taking 10mins for each applicant and he rejected 3 out of 4 before me.
VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning
VO: How many years are you in US now?
Me: blah blah yrs
VO: Did you stick to xxx from beginning or you moved around ?
Me: xxx is my second company.
VO: What is your designation?
Me: blah blah
VO: What is your salary?
Me: blah blah $ Per annum
VO: Can you show me your I797 ?
Me: Sure. Here it is.
VO: Did you visit USA earlier on L1 ?
Me: Yes I did.
VO: You came for Visa along with your Daughter ?
Me: Yes
VO: How many kids do you have ?
Me: Two. A daughter and a Son
VO: Is your son US citizen ?
Me: Yes
VO: Why did your wife not come for visa
Me: She got her stamping done when she visited India few months back
VO: Is she on H1B ?
Me: No. She is on H4.
VO: Who traveled with her when she came to India last time ?
Me: She brought my son.
VO: Your daughter stayed back in the US with you?
Me: Yes
VO: Do you have a copy of your wife Visa ?
Me: I have her Passport. Here it is.
VO: Ok. Is she in India now?
Me: Yes.
VO: Thank you. Your visa is approved.
