Traveling with combo card first week of May 2018
Hello everyone I posted a couple of days ago about my intention to travel with AP and I actually did use my combo card through the Fort-Lauderdale airport, I went to Panama for 7 days and came back with no issues, I knew exactly what it was going to happen thanks to many of the experiences posted here, when I came back they put me in the tourist line, the officer was very kind he took my fingerprints and took a picture as well, he did not ask any question about the reason of my trip he check everything on his computer took my passport and escorted me to a room where I waited less than 10 minutes, then I was called my passport was stamped for a year and they told me welcome to the United States, I was so happy and relieved because I was a little worried I have to be honest but thank God everything was really smooth, I also want to add that I came here with a visa and I overstayed for 4 years I got married to a US citizen and I got my advance parole through marriage, I have never had DACA, so now I'm waiting for my interview which should be coming soon I filed my application last year in October, in January I received an update saying that my case was ready for interview and have been waiting since then in April the status changed to "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information fo your case" I investigated and apparently is a pattern that happens before receiving the interview date. Finally I want to encourage everyone with a similar case to take the risk but I wouldn't advise to travel if you've had criminal records that would definitely be an issue otherwise go for it and enjoy it. Good luck!
