First of all thanks to all the members for posting all your personal experiences in this forum, which has tremendously helped me in cracking the H1B interview easily. I have been going through numerous posts before my interview and its my turn now to return back my experience:

I went for my first H1B interview that got approved, after a simple and quick interview. Here are the list of questions asked:

VO: Whom do you work for?
Me: Mentioned my current company name.

VO: How long you have been working for this company?
Me: X Years & X Months.

VO: What is your Salary?
Me: YYYY USD PA(As per LCA).

VO: What is your designation?
Me: ZZZ(As per LCA).

VO: Have you read the terms and conditions of employer?
Me: Yes.

VO: Is this your only kid(pointing towards my family next to me)?
Me: Yes.

Then VO signalled me to move aside a bit and asked this last question:
VO: How long you have been married?
Wife: X Years.

Finally the golden words came.. “Have a Safe Travel” .
VO didn’t ask for any documents except our passports.

2. Since how long you know each other?
3. Name of organization where wife was working?
4. What does your father in law do?
5. Have you worked previously?

8. When you first met your husband?
9. When did you marry?
10. Love marriage or arranged marriage?
11. How many kids?
12. Are you currently working?
13. You both plan to travel together?
14. Who is your spouse's employer?
15. Whats your sons age?
16. What is your highest qualification?
17. Who arranged your marriage?
18. What is the key point in saying yes to marriage?
