Update on i485: We are scheduling your interview – Feb 8, 2018
SR on March 29, 2018 for “case outside normal processing time” (93 days from application receipt date and 84 days from receipt notice date)
Generic response at ‘USCIS my case status’ website: your case is yet to be reviewed blah blah
I did nothing else after this. I filled out the ombudsman form but I never heard anything so I’m not sure it ever went through.
May 8, 2018: Receives random email apparently with response concerning my March 29 SR:
“Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.”
These are updates on
www.my.uscis.gov following that:
May 18, 2018: We are producing your card and will mail it to you
May 21, 2018: We approved your case
May 24, 2018: We mailed your card to you. The U.S. Postal Service will deliver it.
*tracking number was sent. Expected delivery date was May 26, 2018
May 26, 2018: Card received (or to be unless the rapture happens and the usps driver never makes it haha)
Total number of days before card approved: 134 days (4 months 14 days). Or 143 days if you count from Dec 27, 2018
Total number of days before card received: 142 days (4 months 22 days) or 151 days (exactly 5 months) if you count from Dec 27, 2018
Hope this helps somebody!
