St. Louis N-400 Experience
My wife and I learned so much from this wonderful forum that I promised to share our experience to give back to this community. I sincerely hope that sharing our experience will be helpful to others.

From the time of mailing the N-400 application package out to USCIS to my wife receiving the Passport in her hand, it took just over 8 months. My wife was certainly fortunate to go through quite a smooth process even though the St. Louis office processing times were showing very long wait times. I highly recommend that you submit a cover letter listing out all of the items, even though this is not a strict requirement. There are a lot of factors that can affect the processing time, however, I think itemizing attachments very systematically and carefully, as well as using a cover letter probably helped my wife.

Here is the timeline of my wife's experience:

I wish each and every one of you the best of luck on this journey towards naturalization!
