Visitor Visa - B2

I went in for a visa interview a couple of days back for myself and my daughter. My wife is an american citizen staying in India.

VO: Morning
Me: Morning

VO: Passports
Me: Handed over both the passports

VO: Is your wife not travelling with you?
Me: She is, but does not require a visa as she is an american citizen

VO: How long have you been married
Me: 5 years

VO: Why has your wife never applied for an immigrant visa for you?
Me: It is not needed, I am very well settled here.

VO: What do you?
Me: Replied in brief

VO: Any travel history
Me: I had an extensive list, visa officer cut me in the middle saying "stop stop"

VO: Any relative in USA?
Me: No direct relative, but have a few known people

VO: How is your wife an american citizen
Me: By Birth, she was born there

While the VO was typing, I asked if they required any documents of income, bank statements, my previous travel record in my old passport, etc

VO looked up said no and said you can now leave the process for today is done and your visas are approved.
