Expedite EAD card
Spouse of H1B visa holder

We submitted our i-485, i-765 and i-131 forms for EB1A application on 03/20/18

I got my first job offer later and it expires by the end of June, so I called USCIS first to request expedite my EAD card approval on 04/07, but got this reply via email a couple of days later "Thank you for your inquiry. The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is aware of the delay in processing of this type of application. At this time, files will only be expedited if a true emergency exists. The I-765 teams are diligently working to manage the backlog and process expedites, as well as tackling the normal first in/first out inventory. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing."

Then I contacted one congressman in our state, but the officer said they can't help expedite my EAD card.
Contacted a senator later in April, after filling a couple of forms and waited for two weeks, the office told me "Our office is best able to assist constituents when their cases move outside of normal processing parameters. Unless waiting times appear unusual or outside normal procedural delay, our office is unable to intervene"

So both my requests to expedite the EAD card from either USCIS and congressman/senator were rejected....

My job offer is going to expire in four weeks. Getting really frustrated and anxious during this whole waiting process. It seems that it usually takes the USCIS on average about 4-5 months to approve your EAD card. We have only waited for 65 days so far, but I really couldn't afford to wait for another three months... I really appreciate anyone could help to answer a few questions below:

1. According to the reply that I recevied from USCIS, EAD card expedite request only opens for emergency case, is it true?

2. Does anyone know if it is appropriate to contact the USCIS the second time for expediting EAD card?

3. If the USCIS reject my request to expedite EAD card again, will that affect my green card application?

4. I tried to seek help from one congressman and one senator, they both claimed not being able to help expedite EAD card. Does this happen to all congressman and senator office, should I try more? Although these two people are the only two that has an office in my little town, there are few more congressman and senator having offices in other cities of my current state.

My timeline for EB1A, i485 applications:

03/19/18 EB1A I485 and other forms mailed to USCIS

03/20/18 Case was received

04/06/18 Called USCIS customer service, request to expedite EAD CARD

04/09/18 USCIS rejected my request to expedite EAD card via email.

04/25/18 I485 was transferred from Nebraska center to National benefit center

04/30/18 Fingerprint

……………

Thank you everyone for whom read/help my case, wish we all have our EAD card and green card approved soon!~
