May 9, interview at Centennial USCIS - Denver at 7.30
Inter view was pretty simple and straight forward, gave pictures and told IO about our relationship. Also explained that I need to be back to Canada ASAP. the IO said he will recommend my approval and I should have everything within this month.
after this was a long silence. no status change for a week. so made an info pass appointment for May 30, 2018.
May 30, 2018 - explained the lady about my situation. and she was very nice, took my documents and passport and spoke to the same IO who interviewd me. When she came back after about 40 mins - she told me that I was approved and my passport have been stamped for 4 months I-551. and I can go to Canada. The hold up was because USCIS didn't receive a copy of my K-1 Visa from Montreal US counsulate. and it had been received in the system and just needed to be looked at. She was very very helpful.
May 30, 2018 - status changed to we are producing your Card.
I am leaving back to Canada on June 5 and will be back in October with the transfer to the my Denver firm.
If you do everything the right way and believe in yourself and hang in there- you will win at the end.
Good luck to everyone out there..
FYI we had a very simple a few pictures of our wedding. We will be doing our Hindu Vedic wedding after I move back :)
