Hello,
I have been waiting to hear about my status adjustment (I applied all forms concurrently) for months now (since Novemeber 2017).
As I need to travel home this summer we hired a lawyer late April to just to file the 1-131 anew.
ON May 3rd more evidence were requested for 1-485 and my husband provided them.
The notice for the new 1-131 (applied by the lawyer) was received May 23rd.
Just few hours ago, I received an email saying a card for the 1-765 was issued and will be mailed. Now, will this card serve as an advanced parole? Will I need further documents to travel.
Here is the exact text of the email:
" On May 31, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC **** **** , and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to
www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. "
Do you think this EAD will be for the already applied 1-131 and 1-765 (applied in November) or only for the 1-765 and I will need separate advance parole card?
Thank you!
