USCIS processing time... unbelievable.
Just checked the processing time for I-485 (EB-2) at NSC just to find out it's now 16.5 Months to 23 Months! Is it true that now we'll have to wait almost 2 years for the process to be done? This is unbelievable! My local office also shows 12 Months to 23.5 Months! And we all paid for the services! By the way, for the processing time of 485, do we go with our local office or the office the document was sent to? (In my case, NSC)
Also, my EAD is now pending almost 120 days with no sign of card production while my current EAD expires in late July. I hope I won't lose my current job because of the delayed EAD. Can I raise my concern with USCIS based on risk of losing current job? Or should I really wait until 5 months is up? That'll be the time my current EAD expires though.
