No EAD received, we had the interview yesterday. It was chilled, the officer was very friendly, he didn’t ask us too much questions, he just confirmed the details on the application, asked us how we met? When he proposed, location of proposal, then the Yes and No questions. We had a lease that had my name, my husbands name, my sister and her husbands name. I explained to them that its cheaper for us to share an apartment and most of the utilities were in their names, we had rentals insurance, life insurance, Tmobile family plan. And pictures, he asked to take some of the pictures, asked to see the wedding pictures, he said everything looks good, if he needs anything he will mail me, if not he will mail the card within 10days. My lawyer asked him for a letter, he gave us one but didn’t tick approved. He ticked the 2nd box that said USCIS cannot complete your case at this time.
Then he ticked the box that said , we didn’t require any documentation from you, we will mail you if we need anything or mail you a decision if your case is closed.’
Any one with similar experiences?? I don’t know what to expect. I’m confused. i also checked my status online, it hasn’t been updated since January 31st 2018. So I really cant expect much from them, I have never gotten update from them via email or text message or the online portal before.
