Info on J1 visa
I came to the states as a J1 Student, there was a condition on my visa that I needed to go to my home country for 2 year but i overstayed for 3years. My fiance and i are planning on getting married in a week's time and later file for permanent residence. My questions are:
1. Is it right for me to marry and file for the PD or go back to my home country first.
2. Can that condition be waived on my documents and if so now?
3. Will i encounter any problem when I go for the interview?
4. What is the worse that can happen to me?
5. After Aug 9th, a bill will be passed, can someone explain to me, the safest way to handle this?
