N400 - Los Angeles
Just wanted to share my experience and timelines with everyone. I filed my N400 in late August 2017 and live in Los Angeles.

September 1st 2017 - USCIS received my application.

September 25th 2017 - Fingerprints scheduled at EL Monte office. I missed my appointment date, as I returned from Europe that very day. Just went to the fingerprint place the next day to try my luck and they took my prints. The security guard was all huffy about me missing my date, but I just put that down to him being fed up in having to deal with everyone.

March 1st 2018 - Received email update informing me that my interview had been scheduled and they would be writing to me telling me where to go etc.

March 31st 2018 - Still no interview appointment letter. Called USCIS and asked them to investigate. They launched an inquiry. No one would just tell me where and when my interview was. They were extremely secretive about it all.

April 10th 2018 - Received email/text notification from USCIS telling me I was a no show for my N400 interview and to explain why. I was not a happy camper. Wrote them an extremely nasty letter back. My interview was for that day, but I never received any letter informing me where to go.

April 11th 2018 - I decide to head down to the USCIS office in downtown Los Angeles to find out what was going on? Someone there informed me that interviews for my day had been arranged, but USCIS failed to send out the appointment letters to people. Something just didn't smell right.

April 15th 2018 - Received email/text alert informing me my application was back in line for an interview. Last time it took 6 months, so I wasn't holding out.

April 17th 2018 - Received an email/text alert saying they had rescheduled my interview and would be sending out a notice. I was surprised to see how quick they had sorted out another interview. Saying that, USCIS was the one's who screwed up my original interview. I wasn't holding out on receivng the appointment letter this time either, but it turned up a few days later.

May 22nd 2018 - Attended interview at the USCIS budiling in downtown Los Angeles. Passed.

May 31st 2018 - Received email/text notification saying my oath was scheduled.

June 2nd 2018 - Received said oath ceremony letter and oath scheduled for June 12th 2018.
