I-485 approval during the stokes interview
Dear Readers,
I want to thank all my fellows applicants for their encouragements and pieces of advice.
After two years since I have applied,I had my first interview in 09/14/2017,we didnt get approved back then ,cause the immigration officer had doubts about the place where were living.plus I didnt answer some questions in regards to my wife.However,we were called in for a final stokes interview 06/05/18.Thanks God it went well! the immigration officer was professional and to the point. After he checked everything,we told him that we are separated and that we are working to work things out,he didnt make of this a big deal! However,he decide that he will ask us about our relationship history when we were living together. He asked my wife the same 8 Qs and asked me the same at the same time 8 Qs ,he said if he likes our answers he will conduct a normal interview no cameras ,no separation. Indeed,God guided us and answered successfully the Qs. Eventually,he conducted just a normal interview ,after checking our album pictures and taxes we filed together, then he went on double checking the previous answers I provided in I-485 form.Everything answered well. then he told us that our case is approvable now. Then he asked us if we have any Qs. Then he concluded by saying that we will hear from within 30 days . As matter of fact,it was only two hours of leaving the office of immigration ,the USCIS updated my I-1485 saying that is approved and card is being produced.
Please have faith and patience,I am not saying dont worrry !! Just Have faith and do your homework. Always tell the truth and be honest.Good luck everyone with the rest of the process.
