My experience
So after contacting my congress woman's office in NYC(Queens) about my application, i received a call from them asking for an employment letter to help expedite my case. At which point i had already received my EAD.
They later called to verify receipt of my EAD, which i appreciated because of the follow up, but when i asked for help with my form I-485, she told me that process could take up to 3 years so I should call her when it has been a year! I was like WHAT?
I also contacted Ombudsman, because many people are suggesting they used them, but upon contacting them, i was told it could take anywhere from 3 to 4months for someone to be assigned to your case.
Exactly what is going on here? What is up with the glitches in the system? Are these 2018 applicants really already getting interviews in less than 6months are are some of these people bots or just telling lies, because this is just ridiculous.
