H1B Renewal - Ottawa
This is my 5th H1B renewal, and 4th one at this location.
I'm a Canadian permanent resident, with an Indian passport.
This is primarily to share the timelines from my experience at the US Embassy in Ottawa.
1. Jun 8th (Friday) - Had an interview in the morning.
2. Jun 8th (Friday) - DS 160 tracking status updated to "Administrative Processing" right after the interview.
3. Jun 11th (Monday) - Received a notification in the morning of about Canada Post tracking number being issued. DS 160 Status updated to "Issued".
4. Jun 11th (Monday) - Received another notification later in the afternoon from Canada Post about the same thing.
5. Jun 12th (Tuesday) - Received notification for passport being ready for pickup - and collected the passport.
