Adjustment of Status - I-485

Married to a USCIS, I filed for i-485 i-130 i-131and i-765 on January 26, 2018. case was received January 29th. got receipt notice in the mail February 5th,10 days letter on february 15th, my lawyer and i received a mail for my biometrics appointment notice which was scheduled on February 27th 9am. After this, the whole case went MIA, i didn't hear from USCIS anymore, i waited past the 90 days time frame for my EAD/combo card, but still didn't get a single thing in the mail. i reached out to my lawyer, he told me 'immigration is late on many EADs right now, and the wait is getting longer'. At this point, i was frustrated, tired of waiting without any update. until April 11th, i got a mail from USCIS, which was a notice for my initial interview appointemnt scheduled on may 15th 12.05pm. on may 15th, after my interview my IO gave me an RFE, i responded to it a week after on may 22nd. Today, June 15th, a month after my interview i got an email from USCIS about an update in my case, i was approved for green card, and my new card has been ordered. Im so happy right now, the wait is finally over. i only waited a total of 137days after filing, basically this process took me 4months and 2weeks in total to get my green card. it feels longer, because its a long, tedious process, but patience is key.
