Hi Everyone,
Is there anyone has the same issue with us? Our field office is Santa Ana. CA
This is our timeline:
We applied for I-485 around the end of May 2017 after we got married on April 11,2017. I and my husband have a short engagement which is about 7 months before married. We received an interview notice on April 11,2018. The interview date is May 16, 2018.
We both feel we have more than enough evidences for the officer to see, but we did not know why at the end of the interview the officer gave us the Notice of Interview Results, which she marked on the first box that was
REASON FOR CONTINUANCE:
“Your case is being held for review. At this time USCIS does not require any further information or documents from you. Should further information or documents be required, you will receive a notice in the mail. We may also schedule you for another interview, you will receive a notice in the mail. Otherwise, a final decision will be mailed once your case is complete.”
We both did not know why and were so upset. The officer asked us a lot of questions regarding to our family and addresses, because we have changed like three different addresses already. She also kept some pictures from our albums and all the bank statements and AAA,
and our taxes.
Today is marked exactly one month after the interview, However we haven’t received anything from USCIS even no updated on our case status.
Has anyone experienced in the same situation like us? Please share to us, right now we are so worried :(z
