Hey everybody, wanted to share my timeline and interview experience for reference.
03/14/2018 I-485, I-130, I-765 and I-131 forms and documents received by USCIS.
03/14/2018 Priority Date (as shown in letter)
03/24/2018 Receipt Notice
03/30/2018 Biometrics Notice received in the mail
04/20/2018 Biometrics Appointment done
05/02/2018 I-485 ready to be schedule for interview
05/15/2018 Interview has been scheduled
05/22/2018 Interview Notice received in the mail
06/19/2018 Interview at Chicago Field Office
Overall interview went well. IO was really nice and started by asking very basic questions about our I-130. How/when/where we met, first date, wedding details, etc. Nothing tricky. She said we had plenty of evidence to support our relationship but asked if we wanted to submit anything else. I gave her some new pictures and receipts and she then proceeded to ask me all regulatory questions of my I-485.
Finally she asked for my I-693. She didn't open it or review it right away. Instead she said she didn't have any reasons to not approve my case and will update and make a decision by Friday. I signed and dated the form stating I was present at the interview and that was it.
No updates so far. Hoping Friday comes by and I have an answer then.
Would love to know if anybody has had the same experience of waiting some more after interview. Also let me know if you have any questions!
