Interview done today @ Orlando Field office
I appreciated this site very much and I will do my best to write down my experience.

Married to USC
Interview today @ 11:30am Orlando Field office.
Got there at 11am There were one group front of us at the security line. Got in
within 5 mins to the waiting area.
Got our number and was sitting inside with with maybe 10 groups.
After 30 mins our number was called. Officer was a young lady.
Interview lasted about exact 40 mins. More of chitchat.
Yes or no quesions, are you in group of terrorist etcs.
Asked why I overstayed for 20 yrs.. got here as a child by my parents.
Does anyone live in my original country, how did you guys meet.
She was asking for exact year. Looked through our photo album 100 pics and asked who is this person on this picture.
She said she was in law enforcement prior so she can automatically see
if its a real marriage or not. Asked to see our joint accounts, showed her our
bank, credit cards, car loan. She did not take anything from us. She didnt even asked for pictures to keep. I was surprised.. Oh! BTW, very first thing she asked for was my medical since it was expired. GET YOUR MEDICAL REDONE IF ITS MORE THAN 1 YR OLD!!
She said ok, interview is done, most likely you will get your card wihin 4-6 weeks. And gave us paper with “ case is most likely approvable”
so i asked her if i was semi- approved ? and she still said she has to heck backgorund check and if everything goes well, you will get your card within 4 weeks.
Me and my husband gave her a hug ( with her permission)
and left. Feeling 50% incomplete because we didnt get to hear
“ approved “ on the spot.
We went to go eat with family members, after 40 mins of leaving the
field office, got text msg. YOUR CARD IS IN PRODUCTION!
and another text of my EAD EXTENSION CASE CLOSED.
I was waiting for my extension, but they closed it due to gaining status.
Ask me if you guys have any question, i will be here to answer.
16 months to get here, now will wait till my card gets in my hand.
I’ve been out of status for more than 20 yrs..
( we didnt bring our lawyer because he was a scum bag and we refused him to come. That is another story, definately was useless. he over charged us and
he wrote wrong marriage date on our paper and office pointed out. We’ve told her
thats why he’s not here with us)
