Hello,

I attended the interview on 06-27(Wednesday) at Ottawa. Before my visa questions I'd like to mention the lessons learnt during this course of time.
1. Never apply for a visa in Canada unless you have ample free time or you have a free accommodation in Canada.
2. Never apply for a visa when the consulate have holidays . (Holidays in a couple of weeks from your interview date/time)
3. Try to plan atleast 2-3 weeks even though you are confident about your visa.

My interview lasted for about 3-5 mins
After the regular document verification is done, VO asked me
1. Where do you work?
2. What do you do?
3. Did you use your OPT?
4. How long have you been working?

Your Visa is approved. You will get passport in 3-4 business days.

06-27 - Visa Interview
06-27 - Admin Processing
06-29 - Admin Processing (Apparently they would have left work early)
06-30 - Saturday
07-01 - Sunday
07-02- Canada Day Observed
07-03 - No update in status(They would be relaxing since it's the only day between holidays)
07-04 - 4th of July (US consulate Holiday)

Don't know if they gonna work on Thursday(05) and Friday(06).
Saturday and Sunday - Post Office & Consulate Holidays.
