Petition Date: 10/31/2017
Fingerprints: 11/12/2017
Wait Time: 256 days
Several SRs, reacher out to Congressman, Ombudsman talked to L2 officers on like bi-weekly /monthly basis.
We've been told that an officer was assignd to our case on June 1 2017 - and that the background check was blocking the EAD.
We even submitted an expedite request on the grounds of my husbands company losing money if he can't travel. (they just closed it not even requested evidence, assuming this is because it was already assigned to someone to work on it)
EAD: 7/09/2018 - CARD BEING PRODUCED
Idk how long it will take to actually get receive the card - some people say 4-5 business days.
Anyway, it seems like a portion of the October filers got unblocked and the background checks finally came through... and we're finally getting our EADs ... for the rest of you, hang in there! I'm sure there will be more cards granted next Monday.
It's finally moving after such a long wait YAY.
