Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my timeline and a little advice here. This forum has helped me so much in the past few months! Thank you so much

I filed in August of 2017
Waited for what felt like forever for an interview date. It was stressful and frustrating
I decided to contact my local congressman, the day after contacting him we got a response right away that they would contact uscis.
Within the next week my status changed to “interview has been scheduled”
I had a month to prepare, made copies of everything, had originals ready, joint documents, photos.
My interview was July 3rd at 1:30 pm
We arrived half an hour early and was called in right away.

This guys is how god works (I prayed so much)
My interview believe it or not was 4 mins long
IO asked how we met and I answered
She asked the yes and no questions and I answered
For whatever joint documents we had
Then said I’m sending your case to be approved
My current satus says “card was picked up by the USPS for delivery”

I’m so happy and Thank God every day!
One thing I also did since I filed was stay positive and repeated affirmations that I already have my green card. It may sound silly but it helps.
