My case must be reviewed after denial at the interview
Hello guys i am new to the forum so if i make a mistake please let me know.
I applied for green card through my mother. She is also a green card holder. Everything went smooth until interview. I got my EAD and all that but at the interview the lady who interviewed us just denied me for being a visa overstayee. I was shocked at the time i do not remember the other reasons. Interview did not even take 5 minutes. I sweared and sit and she just denied me and she told me that I will have a denial letter in couple days. This happened like 4 months ago. We haven't heard from there until today. They updated my usfis page which says Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed. I talked to my lawyer but she does not have any idea too. She is going to give them a call. Has anybody ever been in a situation like this? I have been searching through everywhere but could not find anything. Also when my lawyer called them 2 months ago they told her that they havent had any decision on my case yet but i was literally denied. Am i going to get another interview ? Please help me guys I am lost.
