Chicago field office - Interview Completed 07/12
Good Morning Everyone,
My wife's interview was scheduled yesterday at chicago field office at 11:15am.
We arrived about an hour early and waited about 30 minutes after the scheduled time to get called in. From that point on it was pretty straight forward. The officer swore us in, took my wife’s pic & fingerprints.
She then proceeded to ask me questions on how and where we met, where she was born, and timeline of our wedding and if we went on a honeymoon and where. She then asked my wife a few questions mostly related to, if has been involved in any wrongdoings that could harm United states interests in anyway. And asked her what I do for a living. That was all for the questions part. Nothing too crazy.
She then asked if we have any additional evidences that we would like to submit. I had one support letter from my brother in law, itineraries of trips we have taken together (about 4-5 since her arrival in June 2017) and reservations for our oncoming trip in august and great deal of loose photos from our wedding to our routine life put together in an album (about 200) along with professionally made wedding albums. She looked at it all and gave us a compliment and said that we shall hear shortly from USCIS about their decision.
It roughly took the officer about 15 minutes to conduct the interview. About 2 hours after the interview status changed to “Interview was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action.” Then a couple hours after at 5 PM exactly it changed to New card being produced.
