Frustrating experience with 221g
Hi IMMI helpers,
Below is my experience on h1b visa processing. Have a valid i797 till 2021 came into india in June to visit family and get visa stamped.
List of events
* June 6th gave visa interview in Hyderabad, visa officer said my visa is approved and kept all our passports
* June 11th I get email that My visa is put in admin processing. They asked details on last 15yr of work and residence information. Family details and past passport details
* June 12th I gave all the details over email
* June 14th got update that my wife and daughters visa is issues and ready for pickup
* for some travel related reasons I went to pick my wife le passport on 26th, they said the passport is returned to the post
* jul 3rd I go to Hyd post to pick up my wife and daughter’s passport. First they gave both the passports then asked it back saying they can’t release it until primary applicants visa is cleared
It’s july 16th now. My visa is still in admin processing with CEAC page saying last update on 11th June. Wondering if someone has been in this situation in past.
