One copy of Advance Parole is that normal?
Hi everyone,
My husband's advance parole was approved last week and today he received his AP document in the mail. I'm pretty sure it's the AP since it states I512L Authorization for Parole and it has his picture at the bottom and a box for parole stamp. It was issued for multiple entries until 7/2019. Anyway, he only received one copy of the AP (I512L) document. Is that normal? We were always under the impression that they issue two documents one for CBP and the other for our records. Has that recently changed? I called USCIS and they told me to call CBP and asked them how many copies are required (um okay ???) they were closed so I called USCIS again and was told they only issue one copy. We just want everything to go smoothly when we return and not have any issues with CBP. Has anyone else received their AP document lately and did they only provide one copy and what was your experience with CBP? We plan on making an info pass as soon as one becomes available. We appreciate any feedback. Thank you!
