i765 expedite after AOS interview?

All the posts here have been really helpful for me, so thank you all for posting your experiences.
I have some questions :
1. Should I keep trying to expedit i765 even after the AOS interview??
2. Should I withdraw my i765 expedite request because they don't seem to have gotten my proof of new employment?
My story is as follows:
They got my application on April 20, 2018. I had my AOS interview (marriage based) on July 24th, 2018 in Indianapolis. I think the interview went well. But the officer did not approve right away, and the online status updated to "My case must be reviewed" a few hours after the interview. I know some people got approved a few days later or are waiting for 8 months after the interview. I'm scared of waiting for more than 2 weeks because I have a pending job offer starting in August.
I did place an expedite request for i765 on July 5th, 2018, but no luck in faxing. I saw here that many ppl have the same problem too. So I called the customer service, and the tier 2 person told me I can mail it. I mailed it to the address written on their email, and the my mail was delivered on July 13th. No response from the NBC. Since I'm worried about them not getting the mail, I've been trying to fax them every moment I got until today. No luck. No response.
I'd appreciate it if any one can give me advice or share their experiences in a similar situation.
