H1B stamping @ Quebec
I'd like to share my h1b stamping experience attended at Quebec consulate.
Mostly you don't find any solts at that consultate. Initially filled DS 160 at other location and luckily found slot and attended interview.

It's a very small consulate comapred to other consulates in Canada. You will have to wait little longer than actual interview time.

Travelled to Quebec on road and stayed at hotel near to Embassy. All the hotels near to embassy are expensive.

Security guards will allow only one person at a time. After security screening you are allowed to go inside.

They have only 3 counters first 2 will verify all the documents and DS-160, I -797. They are very strict on photographs if you don't upload one during submission they will
ask you to go and get a new one. They look for date stamps on photographs when you took it which they don't do in US. 3rd counter where the actual interview

Questions asked :

1. Is this your first h1b ?
2. Employer ?
3. Title ?
4. Salary?
5. Client Letter ?

It's not my first h1b and do have the client letter.Got my visa approved and collected passport in 2 days.Canada post office which is 5 mins walk from consulate.

Quebec City hotels are expensive when compared to other places. Hilton, Marriot, Delta and Hotel Port Royal there is one small hotel next to consulate. Depends on budget you
can book your hotels.

All the above mentioned hotels are 15 mins walkable distance. I stayed at Hilton and parked my car at Indigo parking which they chared $20 CAD per night.
I had bad experience with Indigo where they took the window down for locked car byt lickly I didn't kept any valuable items in car. They target US car's and stole
numbet plates. When I reported this at security at the parking lot he didn't responsed also.

Quebec is a beautiful city where you can take hop on hop off bus tour and enjoy a lot. Many pubs and restaurants near to embasssy. Most of them speak french and they know English too.
