Urgent !! EAD approved from AOS, Can we apply for OPT as well ?
Hello,
We have AOS application pending since March 2018. We received EAD/AP in July.
My spouse is in F1 visa status and wants to maintain it until the GC is approved.
Graduation on Fall, can't extend the semester because of registration of 1 credit at this semester.
Can we apply for OPT, although one has AOS, EAD approved? Will that adversely affect our AOS applications? Will OPT be denied (That's what some people warned us about)?
Can you please share your experiences or your near ones if you are aware of the similar situation?
