Help, I'm completely hopeless!!!
Hello y'all! I've finally decided to give this a shot, so here goes nothing.
My field office is Oakland Park, FL. I've a pending I-485 and I-130.
My papers were introduced May 2017. I had my biometrics appt shortly after, and I received my EAD a year ago.
I've been checking almost periodically for any updates. And now USCIS online simply shows a window telling me they "have no further information" when I inquire about my I485. It's been well over a year since they've been "scheduling my interview". My work permit expired (I lost ALL my notices of action so I don't even know how to renew it).. Hell, I can't even renew my driver's permit. And I need that for work! (I'm an EMT).
I tried all methods, I called the 1-800 number: Useless, they told me the same thing the webpage says, and they said to schedule and appointment with my office.
I went online to schedule and appointment: Useless, they say they pretty much have nothing available.
At this point I don't know what to do, I've been trapped in this legal gray area where I'm not here Illegaly, but my hands are tied and I pretty much cannot do anything. What to do???
P.S. My process is a petition, my wife (american Citizen) is petitioning me, we have 3 children, 2 of them are our own. And I've seen other cases with way less wait, what is going on?? and who can I call?? :/ Thank you all in advance.
