Renew DL with recipe
Hello everyone. I need a help if anyone was in the same situation. I applied for EAD extension month ago and got recipe says about automatically 180 day extension. I went 2 weeks ago to my local dmv office and show them recipe. They opened SAVE account and in this system it doesn’t show anything about extension. They said they will call me back. Okay, today I went with my husband to dmv office because my license is about to expire next week. And the same thing, SAVE account shows my legal presence till next week anything about 180 day extension. Supervisor said may be wait till my EAD expire then it’s gonna show extension. But how everyone else extending they dl with recipe and my dmv office gives me a hard time. I’m from NYC. If anyone had the same situation and somehow solved this problem share please your experience.
